- AT&T Paradyne has had 33.6 v.34 modems on the market for over a
- year now. Penril, Zypcom and Motorola are also selling 33.6 modems now,
- there may be others as well, so no, it's not just a USR thing.

- Unforutnatly no. The Cardinal's datapump is not changed with
- FlashROM, only the controller code. Both datapump and controller code
- must be upgraded to run at 33.6 v.34, and for the Cardinal this will
- require another hardware upgrade , just like the vFC to v.34 upgrade. I
- wouldn't hold my breath for such an upgrade if I were you, the cost for
- Cardinal to do this would be rather high for a rather small increase in
- performance.
