  17.     AT&T Paradyne has had 33.6 v.34 modems on the market for over a
  18. year now.  Penril, Zypcom and Motorola are also selling 33.6 modems now,
  19. there may be others as well, so no, it's not just a USR thing.

  24.     Unforutnatly no.  The Cardinal's datapump is not changed with
  25. FlashROM, only the controller code.  Both datapump and controller code
  26. must be upgraded to run at 33.6 v.34, and for the Cardinal this will
  27. require another hardware upgrade , just like the vFC to v.34 upgrade.  I
  28. wouldn't hold my breath for such an upgrade if I were you, the cost for
  29. Cardinal to do this would be rather high for a rather small increase in
  30. performance.
